Careprost is an ophthalmic solution that is helpful to decrease pressure within the eye, also referred to as intraocular pressure (IOP) for treating glaucoma, an eye condition that is caused by a build up of fluid in the eyes. Increased IOP can lead to damage of the optic nerve fibers and may cause loss of eyesight.

Careprost helps to enhance the drainage of the aqueous fluid of the eyes, which helps to decrease the intraocular pressure and prevent loss of eyesight. The solution is also used to set right ocular hypertension. It is used to treat Hypotrichosis as well, which is a condition when the eyelash growth is insufficient and helps in the growth of thicker, longer and darker eyelashes.

Careprost contains Bimatoprost, which is a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring prostamide and this ingredient helps treat glaucoma and weak eye lashes.

Careprost should not be used if you are allergic to Bimatoprost. It should be avoided if you have an allergy to any other ingredients in the eye drops. Some other conditions when you should stay away from the solution include if you are pregnant, or have kidney, liver, or respiratory issues. If you wear contact lenses, it is best to remove them before using.

You should use the solution only once nightly. Apply the solution on the base of the upper eyelid. You can use a fine eyeliner brush for the purpose. It is not recommended that you apply on the lower eyelid. Make sure you do not touch any other part of your face with the brush as it may lead to unnecessary hair growth. Before you use the solution, make sure that your face is clean and your contact lenses and makeup are removed.

If you are using a brush to apply the solution, ensure that it is clean before every application. Put a drop of the solution near the tip of the brush and draw it across the upper eyelid margin starting from the inner side to the outer side. If there is any extra solution, wipe it with a tissue.

You can use your contact lenses five minutes after using the solution. Make sure that the tip of the brush or the bottle does not come into contact with your fingers as this may lead to contamination.

If you stop using the solution, your eyelashes will return to their previous condition in just a few weeks. It is therefore recommended that you use it regularly for at least 3-4 months for best results.

Please note, if you are using Careprost for reducing the intraocular pressure, you should not use it for eyelash growth.

Careprost for glaucoma:

To treat glaucoma, you must apply one drop in the affected eye at least once daily in the evening. It is recommended that you remove your contact lenses before applying the eye drop. It is best to continue using Careprost for as long as advised by the doctor. Careprost will help maintain normal eye pressure. However, it will not cure glaucoma.

If you miss an application of the solution, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is too close to the next dosage, it is best to skip the missed dose.

Hundreds of users have testified to the efficacy of the product. Doctors are increasingly recommending the solution as the wonder drug to help deal with glaucoma and thinning eye lashes. If you are facing either of the issues, you can start using the solution. However, it is advised that you consult your doctor before you start using it.
